The organization of political power in a democratic society is not without its difficulties. Thus, the phenomenon known as constitutionalism has brought to the fore the discussion about whether this and democracy are opposite principles on which a sensible political theory should attempt to reach a compromise or are on the contrary complementary principles that have a common origin. Ronald Dworkin, one of the most important philosophers of law in recent decades, offers a suggestive reflection on this issue. This inquiry is not only of interest considered, but the way in which the article sheds light on the understanding of law as an institutional phenomenon ; Este artículo ha sido escrito dentro del Proyecto de Investigación "El desván de la razón: cultivo de las pasiones, identidades éticas y sociedades digitales" (Proyecto PAIDESOC. ; [Abstract] At the beginning of the VI century, the burgundian king Gundobado tried to cre- ate a burgundian territorial state in the occidental area of the roman empire, which the burgundians occupied as foederati. He was aiming to achieve a peaceful coexistence, trying to set common rights and interests between the roman and the burgundian popu- lation. With this purpose intention the Lex Burgundionum and later the Lex Romana Burgundionum were promulgated. Taking this context into account, the present work aims at underlining the roman component that can be appreciated at the burgundian legislation, which we will focus in this case on the study of the servitudes, regulated by Tít.XVII from Lex Romana Burgundionum: De clausis itineribus vel aliis servitutibus .

As some literature states, the border regions tended to be neglected by the European countries and by the social actors for a long time (Magone, 2006). This attitude only changed with the beginning of the European integration process. Since then, the cooperation between cross-border regions and the deepening of their interdependence and integration was seen as a key factor for the success of the integration. The trade union movement does not stay apart from this process. In 1976, the first Interregional Trade Union Council (IRTUC) was born in the borders of Germany, France and Luxemburg. According to Prince and Magone, one of the most important tasks of the IRTUCs is related with the problems that affect the cross-border migrant workers, mainly the issues of equal treatment in terms of wages, social security, recognition of skills, taxation, etc., taking into account the disparities that characterise the cross-border regions. Prince and Hammer (2010) also states that the IRTUCs are focused in ensuring that the legal and administrative frameworks and collective agreements, which are diverse in the different sides of the borders, are applied in order to avoid social dumping. With their activities of information and legal advice they build trust and solidarity among the workers. For Hammer, IRTUCs also contribute to enhance trade union capacities, by facilitating and support cross-border networks at sectoral and company level, and have a role of political representation facing to the regional authorities. For Prince, some of the IRTUCs have evolved gradually for a more broadened range of activities, acting in the fields of employment and social policy, vocational training, regional development and the environment and Noack (2001) refers that they can range from a mere "network node" to an "interregional social partner" with a key function in the regional development. Portugal and Spain share a long border of over 1 000Km subject to a "double periphery" (Covas, 1997) in respect both to their countries and to the ...

368 379 17 4 ; OJS ; [EN] The cooperative manipulation of an object by two or more robotic arms requires controlling both the object's movement and the forces exerted by the manipulators. In terms of kinematics and static, the chosen approach is based on the so–called symmetric formulation. A control algorithm using a modified hybrid computed–torque method based on the Principle of Orthogonalization is designed. In addition, the mass of the object is estimated by calculating the force applied by each end–effector to hold the object. The proposed method is a natural extension of an adaptive control scheme previously reported for geometrically restricted manipulators. The stability test is developed using Lyapunov's theory. Experimental results are presented. Arimoto, S. and Liu, Y. H. and Naniwa, T., 1993. Principle of Orthogonalization for Hybrid Control of Robot Arms. Coherent exchange between photons and different matter excitations (like qubits, acoustic surface waves or spins) allows for the entanglement of light and matter and provides a toolbox for performing fundamental quantum physics. On top of that, coherent exchange is a basic ingredient in the majority of quantum information processors. In this work, we develop the theory for coupling between magnetic textures (vortices and skyrmions) stabilized in ferromagnetic nanodiscs and microwave photons generated in a superconducting circuit. Within this theory we show that this hybrid system serves for performing broadband spectroscopy of the magnetic textures. We also discuss the possibility of reaching the strong coupling regime between these texture excitations and a single photon residing in a microwave superconducting cavity. ; We acknowledge support by the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, within projects MAT2015-73914- JIN, MAT2015-64083-R, and MAT2017-88358-C3-1-R, the Aragón Government project Q-MAD, and EU-QUANTERA project SUMO. ; Peer reviewed

This research analyzes the potential of war videogames to activate critical thinking of the players, like the cognitive process that allows them to explain war, know its nature and evaluate its consequences from an ethical perspective. The study analyzes the opinion of a sample of military video game users (N=213) about different aspects inherent to the dimensions that define it: cognitive, personal-attitudinal, ethical, argumentative logic and expressive-communicative. The methodology adopted is mixed: a) qualitative, focused on the design of the Critical Thinking WGV questionnaire (73 items), validated by Delphi method; and, b) quantitative, focused on the analysis of their opinions about the opportunities that these video games offer them to stimulate their critical thinking, taking into account the established dimensions. The results show that these games allow them to know the nature of warlike conflicts -especially historical-, their causes and consequences by showing them crudely. In addition, they invite you to reflect on the interests of the war and collateral damage. Audiovisual resources favor their immersion in the story, although they limit their freedom to make decisions in the game. Women are more critical of the representation and justification of war, they point out that these video games trivialize it by considering the violence necessary to defend themselves. They also denounce that they do not foster empathy with the victims and reinforce racial and gender stereotypes. In conclusion, these games especially enhance the cognitive, argumentative and expressive-communicative dimensions inherent in critical thinking towards war, but not the personal-attitudinal and ethical.
